In an inspiring exchange of knowledge and ideas, our Edinburgh Napier University Enterprise hub, Bright Red Triangle recently played host to a distinguished delegation from Lutsk National Technical University (LNTU). This visit was a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to support Ukraine and strengthen global educational ties.

The delegation from LNTU, which included the Rector, Vice Rector, teaching staff, and student entrepreneurs, were given an exclusive tour of our innovative workspace. This was an opportunity for them to witness firsthand the depth of our enterprise support offerings and the vibrant startup ecosystem we've cultivated.

Sharing the Spirit of Entrepreneurship

Our team at BRT took pride in showcasing the dynamic Scottish entrepreneurial ecosystem. We introduced our Ukrainian counterparts to some of the remarkable Napier entrepreneurs and their ventures. The passion, dedication, and innovation on display left an lasting mark, emphasising the universal language of entrepreneurship that transcends borders.

Discovering Common Ground

During our discussions, it became evident that our two nations share more than just a commitment to education and innovation. We found common ground in our appreciation for traditional attire, a shared love for breathtaking mountainous landscapes and national parks, and, of course, a mutual fondness for sweet treats.

Against the backdrop of the current challenging situation in Ukraine, we were deeply moved by the remarkable efforts of LNTU's education sector. Both students and staff are
volunteering their expertise and time, contributing to the development of critical technologies and materials to support the war effort. It is a testament to the resilience and determination of the Ukrainian people.
