Case Study: James Gadsby – Founder of Strongr

James Gadsby, a creative advertising student, is the founder of Strongr, a business that aims to connect users with personal trainers in a seamless, friendly way. As a tech-driven business, James has sought guidance from BRT to refine his ideas, conduct market research, and navigate the challenges of launching a digital platform.

BRT’s Support:

James credits BRT with helping him focus on identifying the problem his business seeks to solve, rather than jumping directly into solutions.

“BRT has really helped me focus on identifying the problem, as opposed to just jumping straight to the solution. They supported me through the market research to make sure the business has the biggest potential impact possible,” says James. Through BRT, he’s been able to register his business, create an MVP, and access essential business advice.

Achievements:

One of James’s biggest achievements has been registering Strongr and successfully advertising its MVP (Minimum Viable Product).

“Because my business is tech-related, I was really concerned about how to create an MVP, but BRT helped put everything into perspective,” says James.

With their support, he’s gained confidence in his product and how it addresses the needs of potential users.

Next Steps:

James is currently focused on testing Strongr on a smallscale in local areas, with plans to expand to larger markets in the UK. He’s optimistic about the future of his business, confident that BRT’s guidance has helped solidify the business’s foundation.

“The feedback and support we’ve received from BRT have made us feel confident about the problem we’re solving, and the future is looking really bright!”

Key Milestones:

  • Registered Strongr as a business
  • Launched and advertised the MVP
  • Gained confidence and clarity through BRT’s market research and business advice

What’s Next:

  • Testing Strongr in local markets
  • Expanding the platform to larger markets across the UK
  • Building on BRT’s feedback to refine the product and scale the business
